Don't take criticism too hard!

If you're anything like me, you may need a reminder once in a while not to freak out over a hater. ;) Art is subjective, and even the people you look up to have critics.

Related: a friend changed my life a few years ago by suggesting I watch the 2007 documentary Heckler; it's a must-see if you perform or create!

  1. Well, every once in a while, you get criticized. By your friends, parents, or in this case readers.Everyone will tell you that you shouldn't care, everyone is right, but you still care about it... That hurts, even thought that's just the appreciation of a random stranger that you'll never meet.
It's strange how during all our life, we try to be accepted and appreciated by everyone. That never happens, and I think it's best that way. So I'd like to remind you of a great quote made by Sir Winston Churchill :
"If everyone likes you, you must be doing something wrong."

  2. Your art is gorgeous and reading your reports as you travel around in my country is extremely untertaining.
Don't let them poohead haters get at you !
